Volunteers & Membership

Volunteers

The Jets are always on the look-out for volunteers to come and join our club. You can offer as much or as little as you want – there is always something you can do to help at the Jets. Maybe you can coach a juniors team, time-keep, run water for a game (or season), or even the occasional shift in the canteen. If you can help in any way, please get in touch.

Do you want to become a coach? Or umpire? If so, get in touch, and the Jets can help you get the experience and qualifications you need!

Membership

Jets Membership is open to any member of the community who possesses an interest in the game of Australian Rules Football and Netball.

We have the following Membership categories:

  • Club Membership (Financial):
    • Senior Playing Club Member.
      • Senior Playing Club Members are those playing members 18 years of age (and over) with the right to elect the Board and vote at General Meetings. Full registration must be paid to be considered a Senior Playing Member.
    • Junior Playing Club Member.
      • Junior Playing Club Members are those playing members under 18 years of age with no right to elect the Board or vote at General Meetings. Full registration must be paid to be considered a Junior Playing Member.
    • Financial Club Member.
      • Financial Club Members are those Club Members who pay a yearly membership subscription to the club. They also include non-playing parents/guardians of Junior Members who are registered as members with the Club. They have the right to elect the Board and vote at General Meetings
  • Associate Membership (Non-Financial):
    • Honorary Life Member.
      • Honorary Life Members are those members who have been awarded Life Membership by the Club. They do not have voting rights at General Meetings.
    • Volunteer Member.
      • Volunteer Members are those members who volunteer for the club and who are registered as volunteer members with the Club. They do not have voting rights at General Meetings.
