Payton joined the Jets in 2020 for her first ever AFL season. She chose to play AFL to test herself, improve her fitness and open herself up to new people and challenges.

Payton plays for the Jets because of the incredible sense of community that the club brings and the connections she has with the players in the Women’s team. She is most looking forward to developing her skills in the 2022 season and celebrating 40 years of the club.

Outside of AFL, Payton enjoys reading, training at the gym and spending time with family and friends.
