Auskick is back, and we’re excited to get started this week! If you’re still thinking about registering, there’s still time, come and be part of the fun. After all, Auskick is where champions begin.

Auskick is a fun and engaging program designed to teach the basic skills of AFL, including kicking, handballing, and marking. More importantly, it helps children develop the key qualities of great players—teamwork, sportsmanship, and commitment—all in a supportive environment.

The Jets Auskick program is completely non-contact, creating a safe and welcoming space for all participants. It’s perfect for children of all abilities, including:

  • Children turning 5 or 6 in 2026
  • Children turning 7 in 2026 who are not yet ready for Superkick U8s
  • Children with additional needs (up to 9 years of age) who can catch and kick a ball

When is Auskick?
Auskick will run across 9 sessions in Term 2, starting Thursday 30 April, from 4:45pm – 5:45pm at Amaroo Oval (off Horse Park Drive).

Registration and Cost

The cost to participate in Auskick at Gungahlin Jets is $120.
