Kickability

Gungahlin Jets will run two Kickability programs in 2025 (in May/June and July/August).

The Kickability program teaches AFL skills to children who are neurodivergent and aged 8 to 15 years.

The next program will run for 4 weeks on Sundays (27 July, 3 August, 10 August and 17 August) from 12 to 1pm at Amaroo oval.

Parent/carer involvement will be required.

The program is limited to 20 children.

2024 Testimonial:

‘Our son loved the Auskick program*! He was initially hesitant to join in, but with the wonderful support from his coaches and adaptations to suit his needs he was able to participate in full sessions and receive his certificate at the end of the season with his peers. His kicking skills improved significantly throughout the program, and he was so proud when he was able to kick a goal during a modified game. He says footy was “great” and he can’t wait to play again this year.’

*The Kickability program is similar to the Auskick program.
