One of the best things about being involved with the Jets is that we are a real community and family footy (and netball) club.

Each week on a Thursday after training, our seniors teams come together for a team meal, prior to team selection. Ably led by our Seniors President (Sir Rocket of House McElhinney), each week the club rallies together to put on a hearty meal for our senior players.

Tonight, we celebrated St Patrick’s Day in July. The Rocket-Special Stew was a welcome treat on a cold Canberra night, with our staple complimentary cheese thrown in as part of the deal.

Over a tasty meal, the coaches name their teams for the week, the FineMaster holds court, and key messages are passed amongst the entire seniors team.

We are always on the look out for local legends to join our team – be it as players, volunteers, sponsors or supporters.
