Trav Set For 200 Jets Games

This Satursday vs Ainslie Trav Scholfield will play his 200th game in the blue and black.

Trav joined the jets in 2003 drawn to the club by his older brother Daniel who was established senior member at the time. The move almost paid immediate success for Trav who was apart of the 2003 senior grand final side, losing to a strong ADFA outfit.

Becoming a regular senior player for the club Trav tasted grand final success in 2006 and 08 as apart of the seniors 3 peat efforts. He only narrowly missed out on senior selection in the 2007 grandfinal, but a damaging foot injury left him out for a large part of the season only being able to be named as an emergency in that year.

Since then Trav has continued to be a regular player for the club. Last season he played all 18 games and currently has 103 goals. 3 more than retired bother Daniel. Fellow teammates would describe Trav as a great user of the footy and reliable team man.

Frodo’s efforts haven’t just been on the field for the club. He has served on the committee, named Jet of the Year in 2011 and is a regular supporter of the clubs president’s bar. Contributing $1000s of dollars to the clubs coffers by always wanting to stay that little bit longer to have “just one more”.

Well done Travis! It has been a fantastic 12 years of service and to be just the 6th Jet to play 200 games is a great achievement!!
